Wrights Kung Fu is one of the finest martial arts schools in the South Bay and Hollywood . We offer classes in Tai Chi Chuan and Fitness,as well as our specialty: Seven Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu, a Traditional Chinese Martial Art from Northern China that was created more than 400 years ago. Seven Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu has been tried and tested in combat over the centuries and has also proven to be useful in today's world, not only for self-defense, but also to improve general health, appearance and athletic performance.
We offer programs for children, teens, adults and seniors. You can train alone or with your family. All classes are taught under the supervision of Sifu Derrick Wright, (pronounced "see-foo" which means instructor or teacher). With more than 20 years experience in the martial arts, we will give you and your family the belief, committment and challenge you need to accomplish your goals at home, school, work and all areas of your life.

We would like to meet with you and your family in person so we can give you a tour of our academy, find out what your goals are and tell you more about us and our programs. The first class is on us, we offer all new students a free introductory private lesson with one of our qualified instructors. This way we will not be interrupted as we answer all your questions and address your concerns.
Locating the right martial arts school for you and your family is more than just calling and asking how much the classes are. Although cost is a factor, as a new student and parent, you must be willing to make the effort to visit the academy, meet the instructors and see what the school has to offer in person. We dont buy cars over the phone and definitely not without test driving them first.
